HOW IT ALL BEGAN

After working for big companies for almost a decade, first as a corporate attorney at Skadden Arps and then a business affairs executive for Fox and the CBS, I made the scariest and best decision of my life - I joined my husband Chris to run our family business CandyWarehouse.com. Together, we grew the business to over 40 employees, managed bi-coastal distribution centers, implemented a new ERP system, negotiated countless contracts from warehouse leases and real estate purchases to SBA loans and financing agreements. No two days were ever the same and we wore whatever hats the business needed.

My husband was the dreamer, the visionary. I took care of the inner-workings of the company - staffing, process & procedure, documentation, financing, budgeting, negotiations and daily operations. I was Chris' right-hand "doer" and confidante. I served as a sounding board to his frustrations and together we came up with solutions. After we soldCandyWarehouse.com, I decided I wanted to continue doing what I loved so much for the last 10+ years - working hands-on with entrepreneurs to make real change and provide measurable value in their businesses.

At the same time I began consulting and working for a few clients (and loving it), I had numerous conversations with friends who had reached a point in their personal and professional lives where they wanted more. Not the "more" of climbing the corporate ladder, but the "more" of doing challenging, interesting work for good people who would appreciate their years of experience, maturity and "get sh-t done" ways. They wanted to take on work that was meaningful and valuable, but not at the cost to their personal lives - family, kids, community and self. By finding this balance, we offer clients our best selves.

And so, on my 50th birthday, Vetted360 launched! Every professional on our platform is "vetted", not with just a resume (because every businessowners knows the success rate of hiring based on a resume is about as good a flipping a coin) but over years of being colleagues and friends. Character is what we care about most. Can I trust my business in this person's hands? Unlike a solo consultant, every client benefits from our collective brain trust. And unlike most firms, we don't just recommend solutions and create the roadmap, we also execute them and walk alongside our clients on the journey.

The Untapped Resource

Fast forward to today - a seasoned entrepreneur and a mother of two, Peilin intimately understands the challenges of growing a small business and orchestrating the daily operations and life design of a household. In this dual role, she identified a remarkable pool of talent – female executives who've left corporate roles and head-of-household moms excelling in multifaceted responsibilities.
